Windows Small & Large

Solar shades are designed for rooms with lots of windows, and that is why we offer them in a wide range of sizes. You can get a designer screen shade as small as 12 inches by 12 inches and as larger as 192 inches by 144 inches. The larger size options make solar roller shades an excellent choice for office buildings with expansive windows. On the other hand, the smaller size options mean you can add some privacy to a bathroom window or a sitting room with ease.

Customization

In addition to choosing the fabric for your designer screen shade, you can also add custom top and bottom treatments. Roller shades vanish completely into a roll when open, and we offer a selection of top treatments that conceal that roll. A top treatment gives your window a nice clean look, and our fabric selection allows us to match the top treatment to accent pillows, curtains, or other fabric accents in your home. We also offer bottom treatments, including fabric-wrapped options.

Operation

There are several different options for designer screen shade operation, including corded, cordless, and automated.

Continuous Cord Loop: This clutch-operated system uses a single loop of cord, a pulley, and a rotating couch to raise or lower the shade. This precision lift technology delivers smooth operation on even the largest shades.

Cordless: This traditional spring-assisted system lets you pull down on the shade to close and give a sharp tug and roll up to open.

LiteRise®: This system is designed to let you pull down or push up the shade with your hand. It doesn’t involve springs or cords of any kind.

UltraGlide®: A retractable wand or cord operates this system. You simply pull on the wand to raise or lower the roller shades. The lack of long cords and ease of operation make this a great child-friendly and pet-friendly option.

SoftTouch®: This system is battery-powered and features touch-and-go functionality. To raise your solar shades, you push up on the wand, and to lower them, you gently pull down.

PowerView® Automation: With this fully motorized system, you can operate your shades with the touch of a button. PowerView® has a companion smartphone app, or you can opt for a wall-mounted interface or portable remote. In addition to easy operation, PowerView® allows you to create scenes and schedule your shades to open and close at specific times of the day.
