F<\/span>ounder and CEO of\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>White House \u201cDesigns for Life\u201d<\/span>, a\u00a0<\/span>family of home furnishings stores, interior design services, and non-profit initiatives, will be honored at the Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association dinner and dance in November.<\/span>
\nThe Greater Metropolitan Home Furnishings Association (GMFA) announced that Karen Arakelian<\/span> \u00a0<\/span>founder and CEO of\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>White House \u201cDesigns for Life\u201d<\/span><\/a> has been chosen to receive the GMFA Retailer of the Year Award. <\/span>
\nRetailers, manufacturers, representatives and industry suppliers will gather to honor Ms. Arakelian this November at the Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association\u2019s dinner and dance on November 17<\/span>th<\/span>, 2018. The annual event, a festive kick-off to the holiday season will be held at The Palisadium, Cliffside Park, NJ, just minutes from the George Washington Bridge.<\/span>
\nKaren\u00a0Arakelian\u00a0is the founder and CEO of\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>White House \u201cDesigns for Life\u201d<\/span><\/a>, a\u00a0<\/span>family of home furnishings stores, interior design services, and non-profit initiatives\u00a0<\/span>including:\u00a0<\/span>White House Living<\/span>, a shop for more relaxed lifestyles and casual homeowners,\u00a0<\/span>White House Design Resource<\/span>,\u00a0home-base for many of the east coast’s talented interior designers; and\u00a0<\/span>Design Consign<\/span><\/a>, a luxury consignment shop, with profits benefiting the Gloria Foundation. Karen believes that\u00a0<\/span>great interior design is more than just <\/span>visually enhancing one\u2019s space \u2013 it\u2019s about connecting people with their homes.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u201cI\u2019m so glad that <\/span>Karen Arakelian will be honored as GMFA\u2019s Retailer of the Year,\u201d enthused Albin Grundner, VP Sales for Bermex and longtime GMFA board member. \u201cHer drive and love of furniture and design is legendry. I cannot not think of anyone more deserving of this honor.\u201d<\/span><\/i>
